My name is Nathan Obstarczyk. I am currently attending California State University San Marcos and I am enrolled in the single-subject credential program. I will be graduating from the CSUSM School of Education with a Single-Subject Credential in Social Science. I graduated in the Spring of 2014 with my Bachelor's degree in History. Currently, I am a Teacher Candidate at San Pasqual High School in Escondido where I am co-teaching in two AP Psychology courses, assisting in AVID, and assisting in a Sheltered U.S. History Class. I enjoy working in education and strive to provide equitable and accessible education to each and every student.
Outside of the classroom setting I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love to travel and I am looking forward to a trip to London in the summer. Also, I like following and playing sports in my spare time, especially basketball. Reading is another one of my favorite pastimes. I enjoy reading non-fiction books concerning people or events in history, but I also like to check out books my students recommend!
